Where we are

Central America, Mexico & The Caribbean

The area office in Panama and the branch offices in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica, have been operating as a TYPSA Group management area since 2000.

TYPSA’s presence in the Caribbean dates back to 1969, when the company was awarded its first contract in the Dominican Republic. The company has since continued to do business in the Republic where it has a registered branch.

Business in these countries has mainly been driven by the transport and water sectors. Projects include infrastructure investment programme administration and management, road design, airport design, water system feasibility studies and designs, sanitation works supervision, infrastructure management system development and implementation, community development and public institutional support, and non-residential building design.

The branch in Mexico City opened the way for TYPSA Group’s development in the country and has been operating since 2008. Subsequently, MEXTYPSA was founded as a subsidiary under Mexican law to respond to local business opportunities. Currently, we are actively involved in road and railway engineering, urban planning and buildings (residential, hotel and offices), airports, ports, large hydraulic infrastructure and energy.
