Railways

TYPSA’s railway infrastructure experience places the Group among Spain’s top consulting firms, having participated in the planning, design and construction supervision of more than 6,500 km of high speed line and more than 7,200 km of conventional line. We have played a prominent role in the development of Spanish High Speed rail, having prepared informative studies and detailed designs, and/or provided technical support to construction management teams on 3,400 km of line.

In recent years, a major increase in our private sector and international workload has bolstered our activity in Spain. TYPSA becomes part of the small group of companies accredited to evaluate the safety of railway applications in the control, command and signalling subsystem in accordance with the ENAC standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012, having successfully completed the accreditation process.
