Environmental Consulting
Protecting the environment and human health requires the ability to observe, study and respond from many different angles. At TYPSA we offer a breadth of vision based on the multidisciplinary attributes of our technical teams, both nationally and around the world. Work in this field is usually financed by multilateral agencies, such as the European Commission, World Bank, IDB and the ADB, and by international development agencies, such as AECID and GIZ, which tend to be European.
Main fields of activity
- Climate change: we provide climate change consulting services to support institutional strengthening and public policy making, and to help develop and implement NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions).
- Resilience: we take the impact of climate change to development plans and infrastructure. We offer governments our advice to analyse climate risks and include adaptation and mitigation measures in infrastructure plans, strategies and investments. - Waste: we advise on waste management solutions that are technologically acceptable and safe, as well as economically feasible.
- Biodiversity conservation: we offer support to land-use planners and managers to protect biodiversity, ecologically restore habitats, and assess and value ecosystem services.
