Where we are

Asia Pacific

TYPSA’s activity in the area began in 1991, when the Government of Papua New Guinea entrusted the company with the management of the Rural Drinking Water Supply Program for nearly 200 villages affected by a drought.

Since then, TYPSA has carried out various contracts in the Philippines, Thailand, China, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Vietnam. Many of these projects have been financed by bilateral and multilateral Official Development Assistance (ADB, European Union, World Bank, IFC, ADF).

Today, Southeast Asia-Pacific represents a very attractive market for the company, which has turned the region into a new territorial area for business development. TYPSA consolidated its presence in the region by establishing subsidiaries in Singapore in 2015 and in Australia in 2016, with offices in Sydney. The regional presence was complemented in 2019 with the establishment of a representative office in Manila to strengthen contact with the Asian Development Bank and follow up on the local market.

TYPSA is working very actively in the region in the transport and renewable energy sectors, also paying special attention to the growing opportunities in the water engineering sector. Of particular note is the very relevant participation in the development of the Singapore and Sydney Metro networks with contracts with the Land Transport Authority (Singapore) and Transport for New South Wales (Sydney). TYPSA is working on projects for the new High Speed Rail networks in Malaysia and Thailand, and has successfully completed renewable energy projects in the region, both in wind and solar energy. TYPSA’s activity is completed with participation in major design and construction tenders in Australia and Singapore.
