In the field of metropolitan railroads, TYPSA’s experience extends to more than 510 km and 370 stations of conventional metro networks, as well as more than 570 km and 320 stops of streetcar and light rail lines. These figures make TYPSA the Spanish consulting company that has designed or supervised the construction of more kilometers of metro and streetcar lines, stations and stops than any other Spanish company.

TYPSA has developed metropolitan railroad projects in Spain’s main cities and also has extensive international experience, having worked on metro and streetcar networks in Doha, Riyadh, Lima, Santiago de Chile, Stockholm, Abu Dhabi and Astana, among others.

This experience has resulted in a deep knowledge of all the problems posed by these infrastructures, as well as the most appropriate solutions to address them. To this is added a multidisciplinary approach that, with proper coordination between the different disciplines and specialties, allows us to offer integrated and viable solutions that take into account the most diverse points of view: structures, architecture, geotechnics, facilities, operation, urban integration, etc.
