This February, our management system successfully passed the external audit to obtain UNE-EN-ISO 19650 certification for the ‘Organisation and digitisation of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including BIM’, Parts I and II (asset development).
Certification acknowledges the company’s compliance with new international BIM standards. It also recognises TYPSA’s commitment to a guarantee of fully collaborative and consistent BIM information management processes. All the information, documentation and data are managed, stored and delivered digitally, wherever the project we are working on is located.
As the first consulting engineering firm to achieve accreditation confirming that our management system has successfully adapted to this new standard, we are proud that our commitment to collaboration and digital practices throughout the construction industry has been recognised. Informed decision-making is now a reality, delivering added value during asset development not only to clients but to the entire supply chain.
BIM best practices will provide numerous client benefits, including the reassurance of working with a world-class engineering firm at the forefront of technology.
TYPSA has already leveraged its BIM capabilities in a number of major significant projects around the world, to provide services ranging from advising clients on information requirements to managing design information, delivery and operations.
