A woman’s insight into new engineering challenges

Today, more than ever before, engineers face huge challenges in a permanently changing world. We need to provide innovative, flexible, and transversal solutions, working in multidisciplinary teams and in collaborative working environments.

TYPSA’s teams include many of Spain’s leading women engineers, who are helping to share our sector’s extensive body of knowledge through projects in Europe and the rest of the world.

I strongly encourage our young women to study Engineering. Engineering is knowledge, work, creation, intuition, and excitement. We need more women in engineering to bring a different vision; to reflect a diverse society and seek appropriate solutions. Women cannot let the future be designed without them.

Miriam Ruiz – TYPSA’s Executive Director for Europa

We women engineers must make our profession known so that society can understand the enormously important role it plays in our welfare. Women must be present in people’s minds when they talk about “engineering”.

It is a fascinating profession, but with few female leaders. It is up to us to work to attract talent and the interest of our young women.

Sara Perales – CEO Green Blue Management TYPSA Group
