Key facts

Middle and lower Júcar River basins, mainly affecting the Ribera Alta and Ribera Baja areas, both in the province of Valencia with a surface area of 472 km².

Flood risk largely due to uncontrolled inflows from the rivers Magro (downstream of the Forata dam), Sellent and Cáñoles (tributary of the Albaida River downstream of the Bellús dam).

Services

Determining the areas most vulnerable to flood risk and priority areas for defining possible actions.

Preparation of five designs and environmental permitting; ten pilot studies on flood risk adaptation for vulnerable buildings or facilities.

Implementation of public participation processes, flood risk communication and flood risk awareness raising actions.
