Structural rehabilitation of the diaphragm walls: surface cleaning, hydrodemolition of damaged concrete, reinforcement protection, and application of sprayed repair mortar. The works also include improvements to the tunnel lighting installations.

Drainage and waterproofing improvements, including joint sealing and refurbishment of drainage channels.

Track renewal, replacing Stedef-type sleepers with bonded slab track fastenings.
