Total length of the project: 5.75 km.

Improvement necessary due to the increase in the AADT of traffic after the commissioning of the section of the B-40 between Olesa de Montserrat and Viladecavalls.

Traffic intensity: 120,000 vehicles/day in the most affected section

New lane on the A-2, from the Olesa junction to beyond the 580 Esparreguera junction.

Construction of a weaving lane between the incorporation from the Olesa junction and the exit to the 580 Esparreguera junction.

Extension of the Lleida – Terrassa section from one to two lanes.

Modification of the current exit from the Barcelona-Terrassa stretch.

Actions on the access lane to Lleida in the interchange area with the B-40

Improvement of the service road to Barcelona.
