Inés Ferguson EFCA new President-Elect

The European Federation of Consulting Engineering firms (EFCA) has appointed Inés Ferguson, TYPSA’s Head of International Business Development, as President-Elect during the General Assembly meeting held on June 10 in Paris. Ines will become President during the next General Assembly in 2023, for a three-year period. It is a great achievement for TYPSA to lead the Federation, particularly in these times of relevant strategic, legislative and financial changes in the European Union. She also is the first female President-Elect of EFCA, bringing diversity to the Federation in line with the European priorities.

Her collaboration with EFCA started almost 20 years ago, and in the past 10 years she has chaired the European External Action Committee, the largest and most active committee of the Federation. During her presidency, she has committed to bringing European institutions closer to firms and to promoting the sector’s participation in the green, digital and inclusive transformation. She will also keep strengthening the collaboration with other Federations and improve communication with firms and professionals of the sector.

EFCA represents more than 10,000 consulting engineering firms of 28 countries across Europe, from Ireland to Turkey. Its objective is to promote the sector’s interests and collaborate with European institutions in the most relevant topics, such as digital transformation, Green Deal, public procurement and European external action.
