TYPSA Group, through its subsidiary MC2 Estudio de Ingeniería, has won the trust of the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda’s Road Agency Technical Directorate. The IDEAM – MC2 Estudio de Ingeniería JV has been awarded the contract to deliver expert engineering services to provide ‘Specialised technical support for structures to the Technical Directorate’.
The 3-year contract, extendable for a fourth year, aims to provide technical support services for bridges and structures on the Spanish State Road Network in the following areas:
- Singular bridge design review.
- Singular structure variation order proposal analysis.
- Study of problems that may arise during construction or in the service life of bridges.
- Site visits for technical support tasks.
- Technical support to the Road Agency to develop standards in the field of structures and bridges.
This contract will allow the Technical Directorate to develop its work on standards and regulations and provide support to other Road Agency units backed by a highly specialised and technically qualified team.
