Key facts

The programme was carried out in three rounds, comprising a total of six large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects under the IPP model:

Round 1: Navoi photovoltaic plant (100 MW).

Round 2: Jizzakh and Samarkand photovoltaic plants (400 MW in total).

Round 3: Khorezm, Namangan and Bukhara PV plants (500 MW in total).

The third round incorporates battery energy storage systems (BESS). In particular, the Bukhara project includes a 63 MW / 126 MWh storage facility.

Services

Technical, environmental and social consultancy: initial site assessment; detailed studies (topographical survey, geotechnical studies, hydrological study, seismic conditions, assessment of existing infrastructure, and environmental and social report); grid integration studies; basic design and technical specifications for photovoltaic plants, grid connections and battery storage facilities; assessment of energy performance, CAPEX and OPEX; drafting of tender specifications for further environmental and sustainability studies; review and adaptation of standard documents (request for proposals, power purchase agreement and framework supply agreement); evaluation of technical proposals and general support throughout the tendering process.
