The Comptroller General of the Republic of Paraguay awards TYPSA the Seal of Integrity

TYPSA’s Paraguayan branch has been awarded the Seal of Integrity, an official distinction that certifies a company’s commitment to ethics, transparency and the prevention of corruption.

TYPSA has been present in Paraguay since 2004 and currently has several active contracts, including the management of sanitation programmes in Intermediate Cities and the construction of the sanitation network in the Mariano Roque Alonso basin; the supervision of Route 21; the management of road projects financed by the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF); and the supervision of the Puerto Indio pier.

Paraguay is currently a market with favourable prospects, characterised by political stability, investment in strategic sectors such as water and infrastructure financed by multilateral organisations, and sustained GDP growth, all of which generates significant opportunities for the engineering sector.

The Seal of Integrity, promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) and the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR), is an official programme launched in 2022 recognising companies which have implemented robust compliance programmes and good practices.

In early 2025, the regional management team, in collaboration with the Compliance management, began the voluntary application process. This involved presenting evidence proving the existence and proper implementation of a robust Integrity Management System, including corporate codes and policies, a person responsible for supervising and improving the system, reporting channels with guarantees for all parties, specific training programmes and a firm commitment to integrity promoted from the highest level of the organisation.

After almost a year of evaluation, in December 2025, the Paraguay branch was awarded the seal at an official ceremony in which we were the only engineering and consulting company to receive the distinction.

This national standard is public recognition of TYPSA’s culture of corporate integrity, reinforces our competitive position in the market, contributes to promoting a more transparent business environment in the engineering sector and consolidates itself as a key element in attracting and retaining talent in the country.

Obtaining this seal is also part of the overall objective of continuing to extend and consolidate the Integrity Management System in the various subsidiaries and branches of the TYPSA Group, in line with the action plan set out in our Corporate Sustainability Report.
