22 km dual carriageway with two lanes in each direction.

Three integral bridges with precast box-beams particularly stand out. Two of these are viaduct S26 – Laney Riverbridge, where the beams are 49.90 m long, and viaduct S28 – Sullane Riverbridge with two spans and beams of a similar length (48.75 m). Moreover, the latter addresses the added challenge of being an integral bridge nearly 100 m long. The beams of these two bridges currently hold the record as the longest in Ireland and the UK.
