TYPSA receives the “Recuperem València” award

Recognition to TYPSA for its work in the recovery of Valencia

On September 22nd, the Generalitat Valenciana regional government, within the framework of the European Mobility Week, decided to award the distinction “Recuperem València” to over one hundred companies who collaborated with their work during the 11 months following the October 2024 floods, helping to restore mobility on regionally governed roads and railways.

The President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón presented the awards, in the presence of the Vice President Segon and Minister for Economic and Social Recovery, Francisco José Gan, the Minister for Environment, Infrastructure and Territory, Vicente Martínez, the regional secretary for Infrastructure and Transports, Francisco Javier Sendra and the president of the Diputació de València, Vicente José Mompo. The event, held in the unique setting of the saló de corts of the Palau de la Generalitat, was attended by the plenary session of the Council, thus highlighting the importance given to these awards. This was demonstrated in their respective speeches by both the Minister of Infrastructure and the president himself, who praised the winning companies, for their dedication in such difficult times, and for making the reconstruction possible in eleven months, which under normal conditions would have taken years. They highlighted that, although much work remains to be done, the most urgent issues in terms of mobility had been carried out.

This award is recognition of the efforts made by our colleagues who, on many occasions, going beyond the call of duty, have brought out the best in each other to get the communication routes back up and running as soon as possible.
