First Sustainability Report of the TYPSA Group

TYPSA anticipates the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)

TYPSA has produced its first Sustainability Report, a document that provides a structured overview of the Group’s environmental, social and governance performance. It has been developed on a voluntary basis with the aim of enhancing transparency, sharing the progress made and continuing to promote the integration of sustainability into the company’s activities.

The preparation of this report marks a milestone in TYPSA’s evolution towards a management model that is increasingly aligned with global sustainability challenges. Beyond simply providing information, the report is conceived as a tool for management and continuous improvement, allowing the Group’s performance information to be organised and systematised, priorities to be identified and strategic decision-making on environmental, social and governance issues to be strengthened.

One of the central elements of the process has been the completion of the Group’s first double materiality analysis. This analysis allows the most relevant issues to be identified and prioritised from a dual perspective: on the one hand, the impact that TYPSA’s activity has on the environment and society, and on the other, the way in which sustainability factors can influence the company’s performance, risks and opportunities. The result of this work has laid a solid foundation for guiding sustainability priorities in the coming years and strengthening the alignment between the Group’s strategy and the expectations of its stakeholders.

The preparation of the report has also driven significant organisational advances. These include the creation of the Sustainability Committee, an internal body designed to strengthen governance in this area, coordinate the various initiatives existing within the Group and promote the transversal integration of sustainability in the different areas of activity. This committee will play a key role in monitoring progress, defining priorities and promoting new initiatives.

This process has also facilitated the definition of a sustainability roadmap for the coming years, which sets out the Group’s main lines of action in areas such as climate action, innovation and digitalisation as levers for sustainability, resource and biodiversity conservation, ethics and good governance, and social contribution through projects and partnerships. This roadmap will enable the consolidation and expansion of existing initiatives, as well as the promotion of new actions that reinforce TYPSA’s contribution to major environmental and social challenges.

The report also reflects how sustainability is an increasingly important part of the technical work that TYPSA carries out for its clients, integrating it into infrastructure, water, energy and city projects and contributing to improving the environmental and social performance of assets throughout their life cycle.

With the publication of this first Sustainability Report, TYPSA reaffirms its commitment to a model of responsible growth and to generating long-term value for clients, regions and communities. At the same time, the document constitutes a starting point for further progress in transparency, measurement of results and continuous improvement in sustainability.
