The layout of\u00a0aircraft\u00a0parking positions was optimised by incorporating new positions for Code C\u00a0aircraft, as well as the corresponding areas for ground support equipment (GSE). Every year it welcomes millions of visitors from across Europe, making its airport a strategic infrastructure for the island\u2019s connectivity and the development of its tourism industry.
