In this context, the reference study on road maintenance funds in Africa was launched. The study, promoted by the Africa Transport Policy Programme (SSATP),\u00a0a World Bank programme, funded by the European Commission (DG INTPA), was carried out by the TYPSA-AGRER-RAUROS consortium in the role of support services, and led by its Strategic Consulting division.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:257}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The event brought together representatives of more than thirty national road maintenance funds from across Africa, together with regional and international institutions, financial partners and multilateral agencies. The relevance of this meeting lay in its dual dimension: on the one hand, validating the methodology, the questionnaire and the tools that will be used in the comparative diagnosis of road maintenance funds, making possible the evaluation of their institutional maturity, their governance mechanisms and the incorporation of resilience and equity criteria. Their contribution was key to guiding debates towards practical and operational recommendations, aligned with the vision of the \u201cnext generation of Road Maintenance Funds\u201d that will guide the regional agenda in the coming years.
