Since TYPSA first obtained the ISO37001 (Anti-Bribery or Anti-Corruption Systems) certification in 2019, we have continued to work to extend our Integrity Management System (IMS) across the different entities that make up the TYPSA Group.<\/p>\n
The TYPSA Group already has 3,700 employees and a worldwide presence through its different subsidiaries and branches, so planning is key when addressing the implementation of the different internal management systems, including the anti-corruption system. This endeavour becomes even more complex given that our IMS is based on criminal law, which varies greatly from one country to another.<\/p>\n
Despite this complexity, we can say that today all the companies of the TYPSA Group operate under a single Code of Ethics that contains the principles and values that we have voluntarily adopted in the development of our activity. Likewise, the Corporate Integrity Policy includes our commitment to zero tolerance in the face of irregular situations and corruption.<\/p>\n
This year, the most important milestone has been the certification of the TYPSA branch in Chile.<\/p>\n
TYPSA has been established in Chile since 2010 and currently has more than 140 employees and an important portfolio of work in the fields of transport, hydraulic engineering and renewable energies. This year, TYPSA Regional Directors for Chile decided to boost the internal management systems and obtain the ISO37001 certification.<\/p>\n
To this end, an audit was carried out by the recognised certifying body Bureau Veritas in TYPSA\u00b4s office in Santiago de Chile. Over a period of two days, the Integrity Coordinator and the Regional Director of Chile participated in the audit, together with collaboration from TYPSA\u00b4s Director of Compliance. Furthermore, it highlights the important involvement of the Finance and Quality management areas, and more than 10 people from different areas who contributed their efforts to obtain an excellent result.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the TYPSA branch in Peru ISO37001 certified last year, has just successfully passed the first follow-up monitoring audit; likewise, our subsidiary MC2 has joined the parent company\u00b4s system this year, following suit of the subsidiary Green Blue Management.<\/p>\n
As a final note, the Compliance Committee continues to prioritise the training of staff and the consolidation of a corporate ethical culture. Therefore, all TYPSA employees receive specific information and\/or training, as well as opportunities to participate in various activities to raise awareness about the IMS. In this vein, we have continued to extend the use of our internal self-assessment platform. This tool allows us to cover the entire IMS in depth and adapt the knowledge test to each specific professional profile. Currently, the parent company TYPSA, the subsidiaries GBM and MC2, and the branches in Chile and Peru already have this digital training system.<\/p>\n
In summary, important steps have been taken this year in the process of implementing and adapting the IMS in our workplaces around the world. Thus, TYPSA continues to strengthen its reputation as a leading engineering firm that promotes the highest standards of transparency in the sector, reinforcing the sustainability and resilience of its business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
