Promoted by the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Mauritanienne d&#8217;\u00c9lectricit\u00e9 (SOMELEC), the project was built under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) model by a consortium formed by Elecnor and Siemens-Gamesa.
