More than 130 attendees, distributed between face-to-face and on-line modalities, were able to learn first-hand about some of the concepts and materials that are being promoted today, both in port design and construction work, to reduce their carbon footprint.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Nuria Mesonero, from TYPSA\u2019s Division of Environmental Assessment and Consulting, gave a presentation on climate resilience studies in the coastal environment, where there is a gradual increase in necessary coastline protection activities. Cristina Ros\u00f3n, Sustainability Coordinator of the TYPSA Group demonstrated the general methodology to be followed to environmentally certify a project, a concept initiated in the world of building, and for which a sustained growth in civil infrastructure in general and in port infrastructures in particular, is expected.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Representatives from the Port Authority of A Coru\u00f1a spoke about environmental certifiers in the port world, and later the construction world took the stage with presentations by Boskalis (improvements in maritime equipment), ADEC Global (use of steel aggregates in port infrastructures), Cemex (low emission concretes in port works), Solenis (use of flocculants in maritime works) and Econcrete (new actions in Spain with \u201cecological\u201d concrete).
