TYPSA is preparing the construction industry statistics that the Spanish Ministry of Public Works has been charged with producing. The purpose of the assignment is twofold: on the one hand, Spain\u2019s Construction Industry Production Index (EIPIC in Spanish) will be compiled by carrying out monthly stratified sampling in 4,000 companies, for the period between November 2017 and October 2019. A dedicated team of more than 30 members has been assigned to this task. The other task involves the Construction Industry Structure Survey (EEC) for 2017 and 2018, which is conducted on an annual basis. More than 22,000 companies will be surveyed each year, covering all registered construction companies.
