The TYPSA Group is\u00a0aware of the challenge posed by climate change\u00a0<\/b>and the role that greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions play in its evolution. For this reason, environmental and sustainability criteria are integrated into our projects, with special importance places on analysing associated emissions and identifying measures aimed at reducing and mitigating them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In addition, the TYPSA Group is in the process of systematising and standardising the calculation of its carbon footprint, with the aim of ensuring methodological consistency and data traceability across all operating units. During this financial year, progress has been made in automating information collection processes and in the design and precise identification of emission sources, facilitating the integration of the different scopes and work centres into a common calculation system. This year, the TYPSA Group’s corporate calculation has been consolidated for the first time.<\/span><\/p>

In Spain, TYPSA has been continuously calculating, verifying (with an accredited entity) and recording its carbon footprint since 2013, through its annual registration in the\u00a0Carbon Footprint Registry<\/b>\u00a0of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO). All TYPSA subcontractors are subject to evaluation of the work contracted.\u00a0 On completion, works are evaluated based on deadline and quality criteria. Unsatisfactory results are grounds for supplier exclusion. This final evaluation is kept in each supplier\u2019s file, which can be consulted by the entire organisation.
