Key facts

The Plan includes 80 general measures. The assignment mainly addresses prevention through “Knowledge improvement studies on flood risk management: flow frequency laws, effect of climate change, flood risk modelling and assessment”, as well as specific protection measures in water courses and flood plains and measures to improve linear infrastructure drainage.

Services

Review of the Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment (PFRA) and of flood risk and flood hazard maps and reports; maps updated to show risk areas; “prevention”, “protection” “preparedness” tasks; and studies to solve specific problems in Areas of Potential Significant Flood Risk (APSFR). Annual monitoring reports on General Flood Risk Plan (GFRP) implementation will serve as the basis to design “recovery” measures.
