The experience gathered in terms of unique building structures, with different kinds of materials and typologies, in close collaboration and coordination with architecture teams and facilities teams, allows us to tackle any challenge from a client with a satisfaction-guarantee.

NEW BRIDGE ACROSS THE RIVER MIÑO IN LUGO

This bridge, the third across the Miño in Lugo, is a milestone and a hallmark of a city that is moving firmly towards modernity. The new Lugo bridge improves the town centre’s accesses and exits from the west relieving the present Roman Bridge of traffic. The total length is 195 m in two distinct sections: a steel one 95 metres long, across the bed of the river Miño, with a lower decked parabolic arch scheme and the other, 100 metres long, as an access viaduct to the arch bridge, with a beam structural scheme and two spans 50 metres long that minimize the land occupancy on the right bank of the river and will allow maximum permeability in this area.

MOVABLE BRIDGE IN THE PORT OF TARRAGONA

The new infrastructure is part of the port railway network, linking the Lleida and Reus docks with a railway traffic bridge, parallel to the swing road bridge, now in operation. The double truss type with slippage motion adapts to the level conditions of the railway line in the docks, maintaining operating capacity in the inner dock. The opening system, with slippage motion of each truss, allows the bridge to be kept open in standby, for the free transit of boats most of the time. Its type and dimensions make it a very special achievement in the whole world.
