Division Manager
José Laffond Yges

TYPSA carries out a great diversity of transport planning studies, both for public and private clients, as well as functional support to other Divisions within the Group. The growing trend in this area, in terms of technical reach and dimensions of the works, has provided a high degree of specialization, especially with regards to relations between soil uses, urban morphology and mobility.

Our experience in engineering, economy, research and statistical studies, urban modelling and planning allows us to offer a multidisciplinary focus to carry out such kind of studies, providing results of great rigor and precision, thanks to the integration of these disciplines with the latest technology.

The sudden arrival of private capital in infrastructure funding has led to an increase in the number of economic-financial assessments, which TYPSA develops for the different concession types.

Málaga Metropolitan
Transport Plan

The Strategic Infrastructures Plan (PEIT) demands Mobility Plans to be carried out in Spain’s main metropolitan areas. TYPSA has developed, among others, the one in Malaga, providing transport infrastructures and services for a population of more than 1 million people.

Private Vehicle Mobility Study
In Madrid

Traffic management in big cities is increasingly difficult. TYPSA has carried out the private vehicle Mobility Study for Madrid City Hall, with an aim at improving the capital’s circulation. To this end, a large on-site campaign was carried out involving drivers themselves, and the latest computing simulation tools were deployed.
