TYPSA’s International Development Department is fundamental to the Group’s international expansion policy. Its main functions are:
- Coordination of relations with the public departments in charge of the promotion of Spanish companies abroad, including commercial missions, training and grants (ICEX, PromoMadrid, Madrid Chamber of Commerce, the High Council of the Chambers of Commerce of Madrid, etc.)
- Coordination of relations with national and international sector associations including meetings, commercial missions and training (Tecniberia, ASICMA, EFCA, FEPAC etc.)
- Coordination with subsidiaries for the preparation of strategic offers with multilateral financing
- Management of legal and financial company procedures for international tenders.
- Preparation of commercial documentation for presentations, offers, articles, etc.
In addition, this Department organizes the following:
- Coordination of relations with multilateral organizations to identify and pursue business opportunities (European Commission, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Millennium Challenge Corporation, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, African Development Bank etc.)
- Implementation of the European Commission Framework Contract BENEFICIARIES (EuropeAid), Lots 1, 2 and 6. Contracting in 2008 accounted for over a million Euros.
Implementation of the European Commission Framework Contract for Technical Assistance DG TREN (in its initial stages).
