SANTANDER GROUP CITY-COMPLEX
 Financial City-complex built to centralize services and activities of SCH (Santander Central Hispano bank), for 7,000 persons with a total of 21 buildings, 9 of which hold administration-related offices and the other 12 are for associated purposes, among which are Sports and Health Centers, Golf Club and Practice building, Restoration and Commercial Areas, Conference and Training Centers, Hotel residences, Kindergarten, Logistics Center (visits, freight goods, etc.), Gardening Center, Power-supply Stations, 2 Data Processing Centers (DPCs) and a Communications Tower.
TYPSA’s task in this complex with over 425.000 m² of built area has ranged from preparing the Program of Needs and selecting functionalities, up to the Start-up and maintenance & operation supervision, as well as stages of analyzing alternatives, concept-designs, basic engineering, administration projects and obtaining licenses, final designs, hiring processes and construction management on every front.
These works are state-of-the-art in terms of technology and facilities, to the point of being set as examples towards introducing new developments in the building sector such as centralizing and distributing clean and safe electric-power by means of dynamic Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems (UPS). |
Tycom Global Network
 TYPSA participates as the Spanish consultant responsible for designing and providing construction management and technical assistance services for the works of the infrastructure and buildings located in the Iberian Peninsula, the focal point of the so called Med-ring or Mediterranean ring of the Tycom project. The project aims at deploying a new global optic-fiber intercontinental communication network. |
